Hey Howzit JK Forum!!!
Aloha from RJEEPO way out in the Hawaiian outpost
Just got a 2014 JKU Sport and I love it. I think Jeep has done a great job overall (knocks on wood) sticking that 3.6 in, keeping the SFA, sweet leather wheel, etc. Only thing for me now is to tip toe around the warranty and not shoot myself in the foot modding with this new vehicle! First new one in 30 years. Finally figured ya know after driving everyone's used cars for so long I deserve a new one and the only one I wanted more than anything is a Jeep. Previously owned an XJ and a WK but this new Wrangler is about as perfect an island ride I could ask for.
Tried for a Rubicon, couldn't afford it. Dragon? Nuh uh. Spotted a graphite WILLYS! But it sold that day @!@##$^! Dejected I continued to scour the dealer listings all across the island, considered an Altitude but couldn't find the color combo and it was high priced too. Then this one popped up with the 3.73 and I about burned a trail back down town and did the deal.
So now I'm back in a Jeep again and looking forward to new adventures.
Will try not to ask too many stupid questions!
HUMP DAYYYYYY

Hey RJEEPO,
Welcome to the Forum! What caught my attention about your post was the "howzit" in the title, the only people that I know that use that are from Hawaii! Was just there a few weeks ago, visiting family in Waianae. Nice looking Jeep! Love that color!

Having fun with it and of course drooling over all the mods. I'm up to page 63 on the low-cost must do thread! So 3 more years of catching up LOL
and keepin' away from "the initiator" during warranty period hahahaha!!! so it's things like hood locks and shades so far.
See ya on the forums!

Thank you K0260 SuperMod
Quick pics from camp RJEEPO yesterday out west! Was bittersweet day - absolutely gorgeous weather and sights but with Search and Rescue chopper overhead and jetskis in the water. Only one reason for that - Missing person - this time a spearfisher. They found gear floating a mile and half offshore presumed to be his. They searched tirelessly until nightfall and again today. Not looking good I'm afraid. We lose so many to the ocean both local and visitor alike it is hard on all of us. I pray for the guy and his family everything will be ok.
