Jk newbie trying to buy wheels and tires and lost. I have a 2012 jk sport. It is my daily driver. I.d like to get 33's with black wheels and maybe a lift once I save a little more but wheels and tires are my main priority right now, any advice would be great

 

If you have a 4 Wheel Parts, I think twice a year they offer a buy 3 get one free tire special on Procomps. After tons of research, this was too good to pass up. I did three sets of M/Ts. They look great, pretty aggressive pattern and each lasted about 40,000 miles. Could have gotten more, but get bored about that range... The key for me was rotation every oil change... 3K miles. Seems a lot, but made a huge difference with my last set.

I just upgraded to Trxus (Procomps were getting old to me) and they are incredible. I pulled 3 vehicles out of the snow in the last week alone. One was a F250 and was down in a ditch about 10 feet. Snow and ice on the road. Tires did not even slip. All the cops and other helpers were stunned at the gripping power of the Trxus. And that was a pretty big truck. I was the third person who stopped to try and get him out... no brainer for the Jeep!

The black wheels are an awesome choice. I had chrome ten+ years ago (came with used Jeep). They were horrible to keep clean. The blacks never need washing. Again, I think I was enticed by a 4 Wheel Part sale and got Procomp. Have been super happy... mostly that I can just forget about the wheels.
