Default Hello from Las Vegas

Hey everyone. I purchased my first Jeep in November 2015 and was bitten by the mod bug on day one. I have been slowly doing mods since I purchased it and have big plans going forward. I was lucky and found a 2014 with 14,000 miles at the Gaudin Porsche dealership out here in Las Vegas, where I happen to know a service guy really well. It was a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sahara with every possible option. It is Anvil with the Saddle interior which I feel looks amazing! Any way here are the mods I've done so far.
  • Changed out factory Alpine speakers to JBL (front components and rear coax)
  • Changed out factory sub to Pioneer Slim Mount Sub (in factory location)
  • Was not happy with the sound from the sub so I purchased a Kenwood Excelon 500w amp, Audiocontrol LC2i, and yanked one of the subs out of my home theater (Artison RCC-600FS). Once I did that I now had the sound I was looking for!
  • LED head lights
  • LED fog lights
  • JW Speaker tail lights
  • LED 3rd brake light
  • BOLT Hood Lock
  • Mesh grill insert
  • Removed the Sahara silver bumper inserts (front and rear)
  • Removed Wrangler Unlimited side decal
  • Added Wrangler Unlimited side decal with Red accents
  • Removed Sahara side decal
  • Added "Wrangler" hood decal with Red accents
  • 20" KC Hilites LED bar
  • Rugged Ridge A pillar Switch pod
  • Plasti-dipped front Jeep emblem Black
  • Painted front head light rings Black
  • Rubicon Hard Rock rims and tires
  • 5% tint on the sides and rear window
  • 35% tint on windshield

Planned Mods:
  • 2.5 or 3 inch lift
  • 35 inch tires (may keep the Hard Rock rims or go with AEV Saltas)
  • Front and rear bumpers
  • AEV vented hood
  • Rugged Ridge hood latches
  • Custom subwoofer enclosure (for a 12 inch sub)
  • JW Speaker headlights
  • Bestop Trektop Pro soft top

Here are a couple of pics:

Welcome to the forums. Good Mod list! How do you like the JW Speaker tail lights? I've been on the fence for these. Any pictures at night of your tail lights?

Great looking Jeep until I saw that license plate. You messed the whole thing up. Damn shame.

Go Pack!
