Hello from Kentucky, New "used" Jeep owner
Hello,
I have had an itching over last couple of years to acquire an older Jeep. Such as 1978 Cherokee Chief that I had when I was 20 or so. Did a lot of searching, only 2 realize I was looking at 15k to finish or buy one and get it up to speed. With as far as technology has come I thought about it. Go with a 30+year old or a used newer? The 2008 Sahara unlimited fit the bill at a tad over the price of the 30 yr old. With the comforts that would at least get the wife in the car. Wanted 4 doors due to space for dogs, and materials I get at home depot etc. every now and then. If I can learn to take it easy on the gas pedal, keep mpg above 15, I will be happy.
