Default Hello from Colorado

I'm a noob to the JK forum, so here's my intro... I've been living in CO for almost 6 years - I'm a transplant from the East coast - N.E. Pennsylvania to be exact. I'm on my third Jeep since moving out here. Herbie - my old 1970 CJ5 was the first project. Alot of time and $$$ went into it, but I eventually needed more room. I hated to let it go... I picked up a 97 TJ last summer w/ 58k on it with plans to lift and wheel it. But, once I drove the JK Rubicon, the TJ was designated as the DD. The JK has seen some of Colorado and Utah over the past year. My current mods are a 4" Superlift w/ 35" Cepek muds, Series 97 steelies, Smittybilt front bumper and 8k winch, (the rear bumper is still backordered) and a peaked Uniden cb. With a little bit of luck I'll get the Riddler diff covers on this weekend... Future plans include gears, side armor, and some Tom Woods driveshafts. That's about all I can think of for now. Hope to see you out on the trail sometime.

The CJ

The TJ that gets no love

The JK

Welcome to the forum. You'll like it here. We went to the XRRA races in Colorado Springs, drove Phantom Canyon and explored around Cripple Creek. We also did the Alpine Loop last Fall.....awesome. Also explored around Durango and Silverton. We sure found a lot of great mountain roads around there. The colored leaves were fantastic too.
