Hello from Atlanta
Hello to everyone from Atlanta. Getting pumped to pull the trigger on a '15 JK. Have owned many cars, trucks, RVs over the years, but only one 4X4, an '85 FJ60 that I enjoyed for a number of years. Profile picture is of a Willys Wagon, just like (down to the color combo) one owned by my father's cousin when I was growing up. Had the pleasure to drive it a number of times when I was a teen-ager.
Later in the Army I had a chance to operate M38s, M151s (Mutts of all varieties), a few M35s, one CCKW (a Studebaker at that), and an occasional M715. Most recently helped with the restoration on a '52 M38 that had sat at a hunting cabin in North Georgia for a number of years..
Suspect I'm older than most on the forum (let's just say I'm a "first edition" baby boomer), but the itch to let the sunshine in while wheeling never goes away. Am waiting 'til warmer weather to trade/sell my current Mercedes CLK convertible (bought third hand--I'm not THAT crazy) and step up to a top-down/off capable Wrangler.
Best Wishes--Carl
