my first post here on JK. Picked up a new JK CRD Unlimited last week after previously owning two Toyota Landcruisers and a Hilux or a Tacoma as most of you guys now them as.
I live in Newcastle on the east coast of Australia. Had a good look around the site and the is some top info and plenty of participation from the members. I hope I can be of assistance too.
I also noticed that the forum is not to big to help its members out financially in times of need with the fundraising you are doing for one of your members that is suffering cancer. That, in my opinion is a sign of a really top forum. The forum I mainly spend time on, here in Oz, a hunting forum, does that sort of thing to and it is a really tight/close bunch of blokes that participate there to.
At the moment my JK is fairly stock except for the Mickey T 4 Rib ATZs I fitted to it straight from the dealer. It will be getting a ARB 2 inch lift with the adjustable rods, a ARB Snorkel, UHF CB, and a dual battery system.
The Jeep is my daily drive and will also be used for hunting trips and family touring. Maybe later this year we will get down to Victorian High Country, down the SE of Australia.

Around town I have been averaging 10 litres per 100km.
Yet to give it a good highway run.
I will post some photos soon.
