FJ cruiser to 2013 Rubicon unlimited
Hi everyone!!
I am the proud new owner of 2013 Rubicon unlimited in Rock Lobster. I am coming out of a 5 year ownership of a 2008 FJ cruiser 4x4. I wheeled my FJ periodically when I could get away from work and the wife. My FJ was moderately modded with a 3 inch lift, rock sliders, factory rear dif lock, front winch bumper made by Demello off road, and 33" Good Year Duratrac all terrain tires. I have not one harsh word to say about my FJ ownership but I certainly hope the Jeep will be even more fun and provide a positive ownership experience. The Jeep is proving to be much fun so far and I have not even taken the top off or taken it off road. My one and only complaint about my new Rubicon so far is that the BFG mud terrains pick up rocks and have pelted my rear fender flares leaving paint chips and indentations in the paint. This is only after 300 miles of driving. Had I known this would happen I would have chosen the black factory flares over the painted ones but having painted flares and hard top sure makes for a sharp looking Rubicon. I am certainly looking forward to getting to know you guys and learning as much as I can about my new Rubicon.

Congrats on the purchase!!! Welcome to the Jeep family and to the forum.
If those small road rocks bug you just wait till you get on the trail and there's a 3 foot opening in a lot of brush that you have to push your Jeep through... LOL
You are going to have a blast with it, just drive it like you stole it.
