Finally... Top down screamin out money aint a thang!!!
That's a joke for my girlfriend... Every time she and I are in my car and I see a jeep roll by with the top down I would tell her, "look at that guy/girl.... Lovin life with the top down screamin out money ant a thang." And my girlfriend would shake her head at me...
Fast forward to now. Just picked up my 2011 6 spd Black Rubicon. Went all out and got the brown leather, Power Package, Navigation, heated seats, and dual tops. Paid under invoice so I think I got a pretty good deal.
Absolutely love it. Getting used to the way it drives and sitting so high. LOL
My other car is a 2005 Stage 2 STi so it took a little getting used to the first time I tried to pull out into traffic and realizing the Rubi takes a little longer then my STi to get up to speed. Not to mention the throw on the gear shifter. But its really nice to not have to wince at every little bump or pot hole in the road. And I can't wait until I can lose the top and the doors. Weather in PA isn't there yet.
I'm no stranger to turning wrenches and I have big plans for my JK. I'm also no stranger to using the search function on a forum so I hope to not be too much of a pest. I have to say that the FAQ's in this forum are really fantastic!

My wife has gone so far as to tell me that if she was driving a Jeep, and random people waved at her, she'd think they were crazy... perhaps my wife does get me
