Finally Got my 4 Door!
Hey guys , Im new to this forum but i just wanted to sign in and announce that after 3 years of being without a jeep i finally got back in one and i bought a used 09 JKU Sahara. i have major plans down the road for it but i recently just bought a set of used 35's a 4" rough country lift and a full set of smithy built safari tube doors to get me started. curious if anyone had any suggestions or cheap ways to modify these new wranglers since i was previously the owner of several YJ models. ill be installing the lift kit this weekend so after ill try and put up some pics of the before and after and some of the build processes.

I went from a 95 YJ to a 2011 JKU, good to have another one of us around! There is a thread on the forum about cheap mod's (use the search field and it will be easy to find). I suggest first flipping the rear view mirror upside down. Then tackle the back seat reclining mod (makes a huge difference). If you go with 35's you'll have to trim the pinch weld by the rear tires, that thread is on here too. Lots of great stuff on here!

It's been a while since my original post but iv done a lot since then. Installed a rough country 4" lift , put 35" pro comps tires on , installed rough country's hybrid stubby bumper with a 12,000 winch, added 2" wheel spacers and blacked out my stock wheels . And a few parts still on the way . Everything went pretty smooth during the installs . I did end up cutting my pinch weld in the rear . Now iv just got to save up and get some flat fenders and a rear bumper :-). Can't wIt to wheel this thing in the summer
