Feather has a Jeep <3
Hello!
I am new to the forum but not new to jeeps. I have always wanted a jeep but a handful of years ago i got my hands on a pretty forest green Sahara. I was very happy with it until my roomie got a 2012....... Then i had to trade my 07 Sahara in on a 2012 sport myself. What a difference in the power and overall feel of the vehicle! (Or i imagine it breathing in all the new car toxic fumes)
My Wrangler is a Silver Sport S with Hard top and such. 6 speed because i like manuals better. Did i mention it was really pretty and silver?
Picy was when i picked it up from tinting.
As for modding.. After 700 miles i have added the black plastic rubber entry guards. Oh and i got my windows tinted! I will likely end up doing some quality of life type things for it being a daily driver like upgrading the speakers and head unit. Maybe adding a sub if i can find a sub panel used or trade for the normal one. Maybe a skid pan and a little better tires. I would like to find a set of the rock rails that came on the Rubicons so i don't mess up my body. And will go from there I guess. As i save money and have time we will see how my jeep grows up.
I live in Parker Colorado.
Thanks,
~Feather

Beautiful Jeep!
I have a 2012 Silver Rubicon Unlimited. LOVE IT!
This is my 7th Jeep. After running many different types of trails I've learned that I want to "try" to stay out of the mud as much as possible.
I've been to Moab and can't wait to go back. What are the trails you have ridden like in Colorado?

Old Flowers Road
Poll Hill
West White Pine Mountain
If that seems easy enough, our next trip is going to maybe hit something a little more exciting.
I don't want to do too much till i can afford some side protection and maybe some better tires. Keeping my eyes on craigslist list for some Rubicon side rail take-offs.

I'm in the sane boat as you. I too am looking for a set of Rubicon take off tires and rock rails. You can get the rock rails for ~$100. And you should also look into buying a set of better springs and Rubicon shocks off someone, you'll gain 1-2" and ride will improve greatly with the shocks.
I have so much i want but i just have to wait till i find some good deals on things... I figure the forum here will be the best source of not only info and guidance but also, hand me downs for affordable prices!
