Default An Englishman in Alabama!?!

Hey Y'All........

Must say I'm really excited to be a part of what looks like an awesome place to meet new freinds.

Bought my JK 4 weeks ago, walked onto lot and drove of a couple of hours later a very happy man. I must say, I can't wait to start adding lots of bits and pieces to it, starting with some new decals!!

Moved to sunny Madison, Alabama, in Dec 2006, from cold, grey and wet Bedford, England. What a differnce!!!!

My wife, 3 kids and I love it here, and the Jeep just helps even more.

Look forward to meeting some of you soon.

Cheers,

Wow, from England to Alabama, you must've thought you landed on a different planet!

Welcome to the Forum, and welcome to the South.

Welcome Tom. Bedford, England - John Bunyan spent several years there as a guest of His Majesty Charles II. A bit more history there than your present town, but as you say, at least the weather isn't as gloomy.

I know one of your neighbors who has a very similar JK (his is blue). I'll let him know you're around . . . perhaps we can all get out for a little 4-wheeling some day. Cheers!

Wow, there are some well educated people in these here parts!!!!! John Bunyan and all.....

Thanks for all the welcomes, and yes the South is kind of like a different planet, but its a lovely planet, full of all sorts of alien lifeforms.

Going 4-wheeling some day would be cool, so would just having beer.
