Default ello ello from Key West Florida

Hi there, name is TJ. I currently own a 04 Wrangler. I have had the itch to trade it in for a JK. Here right now for my research and whatnot. Currently in LOVE with the sahara tan color. Been reading around the forums and I have to say you all run a tight ship here. Very good forum to be a part of. Hope to be contributing soon with a JK of my own.

ello ello TJ. Welcome to the forum. Can't wait to see what you end up buying. Gotta agree with you that the tan color is cool. Reminds me of Wild Kingdom with Marlin Perkins and Jim Fowler cruising around Africa. Keep us posted on what you get.

BTW, you're lucky to live in probably one of the top 10 COOLEST places on Earth! Wifey and I go there every year or two. Great place to live.

I second that on being a cool place to live. Wife and I love it and we can't wait to get back. Married there in 2010.

Did you all get married on smathers beach? If you did you got married under my palm tree *it says so because my name is carved in it*

Living here has its +s and -s. it's doesn't get below 40 degrees, it's a boaters dream, and we host fantasy fest. it does cost a arm and three legs to live here and the closest thing to offloading is about 2 hrs away. South Florida is flat and all mud. Had my full of getting stuck door deep. Not my idea of a good time. The good wheeling is about 8 hrs away.

I owe about 6 grand on my TJ. Thinking about humping the overtime and getting it paid off. I will def post pics when I pick her up though. Promise!

Like I said about the flat terrain. I don't have much to build for. My jeep build philosophy hovers around 3 things

1) cruising duval street and the beach
2) big enough to not sink during tropical storms/hurricanes
3) the upcoming zombie apocalypse

It was on smashers. Before they started the restoration this year. We were there this year and could hardly stand to be on the beach it smelled so bad. We were at entrance 12 I think. Love Duval obviously. Can't wait to get back.
