Default Driver's seat issue

The driver's seat on my 2012 Wrangler sport keeps lowering by itself. I crank it up every time I drive it because I always find the same scenario, it has lowered itself down. Is this normal or is there a factory defect on the seat? Any information on this subject from other owners will help me determine if it needs an exorcist or a trip to the dealer.

Thanking ya'll in advance:

I've read by some on here that you inadvertently hit the lever with you thigh when you get in the Jeep. Makes sense to me.

No seat should change setting by itself, that's Definitely a defect.
Mine, BTW, stays elevated.

I had the same issue. I finally set it where I wanted it and removed the handle.

This got me curious, so I payed attention to how I get off the driver seat.
I have sort of a step I put the foot on, so my body doesn't touch the handle.
Without that step, I can see how the body could touch the handle each time, and gradually lower the seat.

I've seen on the forum of someone re-positioning the handle 90 degrees or so, to keep it out of the way when exiting.

I keep mine in the lowest position and wished it could go down some more. I always seem to be looking out the top third of the windshield.
