Default Diesel JK owner from Australia

Hey,

Nice board you have here I have done a lot of reading.

I pick up my 2.8l Diesel renegade (I think you call this X pack) tomorrow & can't wait.

Im pretty broke but the first thing I plan to do is get some recovery points up front. Im thinking of getting the warn bar but still researching.

We are allowed to lift Its just much more expensive here. I will be lifting but probably not for 6 months. Thats lancelin massive offroad area lots of dunes & fun to be had http://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=q&h...=16&iwloc=addr

What do you want to know?

Its $4000AUD extra

2.7l CRD 4cyl
23 miles per gallon
130kw @ 3800rpm
410Nm @ 2000-2600
Comes with a Optima yellow top battery

Im very happy with it, economy is important to me and its not a pig onroad. I have only done a little bit of offroad work Im running her in but on sand dunes I am impressed.

Are you very satisfied with the acceleration/performance of the Diesel? Is it pretty quiet?
