Can't find CNNNX321AC fuel filler check valve
I have a 2009 Unlimited X and can't find any location to purchase the CNNNX321AC fuel filler check valve part.
The places I have ordered it from have canceled my order when they find out I'm an end user of my JK. They tell me it can only be sold to a dealership for the recall.
When I go to a dealership they tell me the recall only covers 2007 and 2008. My 2009 has the same faulty designed filler tube as the 2007 and 2008 models.
Any suggestions on a solution to my problem. I used to be a GM mechanic back in the 80's and this would be a simple replacement for me if I could get a hold of the part.

Welcome to JKF. Interesting .. years ago the factory ceased sending 25% of vehicles sold to the dealership. Dealership's parts dept must purchase and many times a VIN # is required to order. Just thinking find a total in a salvage yard get the VIN and try to buy at the dealer with that VIN saying it is in the body shop.
