canadian jeep noob
Hey to everyone new to the jeep scene i currently own a 2007 ram reg cab 4x4 sport with a bunch of mods.
Long story short planning on having some kids soon wife had a small cuv and wanted something larger with a 4x4 drivetrain due to the roads here were i live in the winter are nasty .So me being me and been keeping an eye on jeeps all my life but never could afford one also with the weak 4.0 and 3.8 in the power perspective i was waiting to jump on the bandwagon once the new 3.6l vvt came out.So much for a short story eh lol anyways seen a 2012 jeep unlimted rubicon at a local mopar shop and wife fell i love with so did i. I was hesitant on the color (orange crush) but one week later at a canadian wattering hole (tim hortons) i see the exact same model with 35' km2s and a 3.5'' lift withe an aev from and rear bumper i got an instant growing in the groin area.
One day later i was at the stealership trading the wifes cuv in had to custom order due to her wanting an auto trans so i opted the 4.10 gears for future tire upgrades and a max tow package i wanted bare stock cloth but insisted on the leather sadle so i have to wait 8-12 weeks to get my first new vehicle in my life i guess it does pay off some times to be patient.
So hope to meet a bunch of u around and get some advise on suspension and tire combos with some real time abuse and stress tests due to a very weary buyer when it comes to after marker parts
future mods hopefully
3.5 suspension lift(full no spacers ect)
33'' mayber 34'' extreme at's or muds
new 17" to support the proper bs for tires and lift
exhaust catback with magnaflow short muffler(14")(magnaflow fan)
steel fron and rear bumpers with 9k to 12k winch 12k might be overkill(go big or stay home lol)
big enough power inverter to support portable air pump and other goodies
4-6 piaa' 580's
