Another New Guy - New Jeep Owenr - Australia
Hey guys and girls,
New Jeep JK owner, located in Sydney, Australia.
Saw a post onJKOwners.com that mentioned this forum, thought I'd register here as well.
Recently bought a stock 2013 JK Wrangler Overland (Sahara) 3.6 auto. Dozer in colour.
Really nice, I'm enjoying every drive.
First thing was to get the stock road pattern tyres off (Bridgestone Dueler H/Ts on 18" factory alloys) and substitute some 17" factory 5 spokes I picked up from someone who was going for wide wheels on his new car.
I wrapped them in a set of nearly new Wrangler Silent Armor 255/75x17 off a new Rubicon who was also going for different tyres. So at least I have something a bit more suited to the fire trails around here.
Next up is a front bar and 9500lb winch, a pair of rear recovery points and then I'm having the suspension redone to bring the car back up to it's designed ride height with the extra weight of the new stuff fitted.
Need to get some comms sorted out for it as well.

Hi,
Yeah, it does...its like someone stuck an ironing board on the front of the car.
Apparently, its a Euro spec bar, they use it here because we can't have the fog lights as close together as the US spec bar has them.
Won't be on there long, I ordered my new bar and winch today.
This is the bar I'm putting on......(wish my JK looked like this one, lol)
