Another hailing from Georgia
Hey all,
We finally got our '08 4-door X in the first of August. after ordering it as an '07 April 9th! Dual top group held it up until DC cancelled & dealer reordered as 2008 model. We almost gave up, but soooooooo glad we didn't.
We've only forded one small creek, and been on mild dirt trails so far.
But we've had it 1 1/2 months and only sprayed with the water hose a couple times (never washed). How many points does that get me?

Trails & local jeepers to find
BigJerm,
I'll definitely check you guys out. I think I've seen your site before, did several searches while waiting on the Jeep to arrive!
Well, with work being so busy lately, we've only been able to go on a couple short rides. No real wheelin' yet. Just below Dawsonville near the entrance to "Dawson Forest". Shoal Creek Road is about 12 miles of mostly gravel, dirt road with the creek near the far end.
Other than that, just riding the roads with the front pieces of the freedom top out. Haven't even got to go topless yet!
This our first Wrangler, and for a while it's going to be the wife's daily driver during the week. We enjoy EVERY moment in the JK we can squeeze into the weekends!
We are planning a trip to visit family around Albuquerque in October. Hoping get a chance to check out sone trails in NM/AZ while we're there.
