2nd Family Jeep
Hello from San Francisco.
First JK in the family, 2nd Jeep overall. Uncles had a Jeep CJ (in the Philippines) that shuttled me around before I could even drive. I remember that thing being so beat that the floors were rusted through in spots, but man did they keep it going and eventually got it rebuilt that only the frame and body were original.
I'm an avid auto and motorcycle enthusiast and have been fortunate enough to have a wife that actually bought the JK for "us" to use.
I'm looking to build more of an "overland" type of Jeep in that my intention is for it to be more than capable for any road that goes from A to B and not necessarily a rock-crawling monster that some of the members here have.
I hope to learn a lot in this forum but also to contribute some knowledge as well from all of my auto/motorsport experiences.
