2015 Rubicon

2015 Rubicon
I have a 2015 Rubicon, 3.5 lift w/35 tires and 4.1 Diff.
I’m having 2 issues 1) In automatic driving on highway, when I accelerate the trans shifts to what feels like 3rd gear, the tac goes well above 5k to 6k+, speedometer goes above 70 to near 80 and it doesn’t upshift until I let off the gas. I’ve had it into the dealer several times. They reloaded the computer, tested and said it’s fine. It works great around town but just doesn’t upshift when I think it should. 2) Battery is new, has good charge. Every blue moon I go to start the jeep and I get nothing. I put a battery NOCO boost on and it starts right up. Then it works fine for weeks and then it happens again. Very random when it happens. Dealer has ordered a Tipm. But when I read about Tipm this is not a symptom. Curious if anyone else has experienced these issues and what was done to repair. Thanks!

FYI, I don't do automatic transmissions, so can't be too much help with that. But one thing I've read folks complain about with the autos is that if they try to crank and get nothing, sometimes jiggling the shift lever let's it start right up. I'm guessing there's a switch related to that you might wish to check out.

There are literally dozens of issues that could cause what you are experiencing. There must be a reputable 4x4 center or transmission shop around in FL that can be trusted that at least will point you in the right direction. "Doesn't upshift when you think it should" not sure what that means. Is your transmission getting hot. You also put 35" tires on it but did not change gearing due to the lower power of the motor so that could be an issue as well. Oil temp/oil level might be a problem as well. Then there is the electrical issues with the battery.
My point is my suggestions where to look jumped all over the place which takes us back to my first sentence. You need at the very least to have the ability to run a live scan while you are driving and log it to review later. I do the live scan with HP Tuners and review later on my laptop. Very hard to troubleshoot without seeing all the parameters working together at a given point in time.
