Same place, with a 2" lower bumpstop installed. Still contacting, but I could turn the tires.

Also, in that first pic, the coil was fully compressed. ARB's senior design engineer down in australia assured me that their coils will not be harmed by stacking, but double check with the folks at BDS on that.
A question -
In the last picture I do not see the Shock Absorber. Is it missing ?

I put my Zone 3" lift on back in April with my 16 y.o. son. It took us about 5 hours. I have a 2 door Sahara and the 18" wheels look much better with the lift. No issues with drive shafts. I did buy the new sway bar links because I din't want to reuse the old set and the new links are WAY beefier than stock.
I think it rides better now than stock.

I have the 4" and I was told I didn't need anything but the basic kit with the upgraded shocks. He knew I had the money for it but said no to it. The only difference between the zone and bds is you pay for the "no fine print warranty". Mine rides as good as it did off the lot.

I'm a huge propont of you get what you pay for. But after stewing for a solid two months over lifts and searching endlessly. I ended up with a zone 3". I personally felt 2.5" was not enough lift for 35's and 3.5" looked a tad too high. I also had no intention of any serious offroading. If I did, I would have looked elsewhere and purchased something with flex arms. Needless to say I have 300 miles on my zone lift and i couldnt be happier. I upgraded to the nitro shocks including steering stabilizer. Love the fact the shocks and lift components are all black and look factory. I also added a jks adjustable track bar and and their cam locks. I liked their camlocks for a couple if reasons. They can only be installed 2 ways stock or increased caster. I forget how many degrees. But they lock in place and can't move. They're not like otherw cam locks you've seen out there. For a road warrior I personally think your wasting money if you go with one built for offroading. Anyone who lives near me is welcome to come take mine for a ride and see what for themselves. I'm also bucking the trend running 4.56 gears and feel they're perfect. Again if i was building for wheeling it would be taller gearing.

I should also add. I've run the higher end suspensions. I had a 3.5" Rubicon Express on my 98 Grand Cherokee and I had 3" teraflex on my TJ.

If the 3" Zone really is a repackaged BDS then it should be quality. However keep in mind, besides the BDS No BS Warranty, the BDS comes with the sway bar quick disconnects. I have the 3" BDS but that being said I paid extra to upgrade the 5500series shocks to the 9500 series stainless steel Gas shocks which I think look and ride better.

Is there better out there? Sure. Is it a good kit for the price? Looks like it.
I say if it looks and rides good then go with it.

I love my 3" zone lift, I got 3.5 of lift front and rear and use it hard every weekend, the only problem I have is my rear track bar bracket hits the right rear shock at full flex so it has a bit of a dent but other than that I would say this is a very good kit for less than 500$

Default zone

I have had my zone 4 inch on and have wheeled with the best of them all day. I go out 2 to 3 full weekends a month and never have any issues. I put mine on with the stock rubicon tires then upgraded to 35s and it rides great. A buddy of mine has 4 inch teraflex long arm and says mine rides just as nice as his does.

I agree. My Zone 3" has been great! I get out there 2-3 times a month and it's a DD. Running 35s stubby and winch and very happy with Zone.
