I think 4wp still has a military discount, but you can only get it in store.

Does the Willys edition come with sliders? If not those are what I always recommend you spend money on first. I would spend the money on protecting the vulnerable bits underneath especially since you plan on keeping it low. C-Gussets, LCA skids, oilpan skids, steering stabilizer relocation are all wise things to do.

Right there with you on doing it right the first time, I like the lift that I can build into. I know tires and wheels will change over time. Ever thing else I want to get it right the first time. and with no experience your inputs are highly valuable. With the 15 in wheels, what are the down falls, specifics with the steering and suspension parts. Im looking at 15s with 3.75 back spacing. Im not worried about the braking aspect unless the stock brakes setup will fail in some way. If I ever changed out the breaks it will be into the future when these tires should be wore out anyways.
Tires are so cheap for 15s that it makes it all worth it.

FYI on selling the stock wheels/tires. I listed mine for $1300 w/ 1750 miles on them and they were gone in 12 hours for $1200 on craigslist.

The Willys comes with the rubicon slides, and I plan on putting on the protection on over time while im here in Texas. Hoping to get stationed in Wyoming or Northwest of there next.
