Mileage - Mixed 17MPG average. Highway only - 20MPG.
Mods:
Airaid CAI (no, it didn't make the mileage better.....just helped the top-end acceleration and made the exhaust sound better)
OME 2" HD lift and trackbars from Northridge w/ Currie endlinks
Spidertrax 1.5" wheel spacers
Warn 8000 winch
LittleSeats rear facing bench seat
The key to me getting 20+ on the highway.....cruise control. With me being the master of acceleration, I get 18-19MPG highway. Let the PCM take over and I average 20.5.
BTW, I have a built Camaro to beat on for my speed fix, so I usually drive the Jeep like an old woman. Revs rarely get over 4KRPM and I usually stroll along at 70MPH on the highway. It's also a 6-speed manual.

My mods have done nothing but sap my MPG.
Before lift, rock sliders, tires, and bumper stub, I was getting 22+ consistently on the highway, provided I stayed under 65 MPH.
I'm usually at 19 or 20 now.
I installed E3 plugs to see if I could recover some MPG and gain the power others have claimed.
A slight bump in city MPG, but I haven't seen much effect on highway MPG or perceived power.
Time will tell on highway MPG, though. It's been hot, so the highway travel has been either top off or AC full blast.

Before M/Ts: 19.0-20.5 mpg in 80/20 highway/around town driving.
With 32" M/Ts: 17.4-18.4 mpg (same conditions).
THis is optimized with top on and summer fuel, I lose 1-1.5 mpgs if either of these variables change.
Only mod is the Airaid intake, while I gained some throttle response, it had no measurable effect on fuel economy.

Wonder if we should be putting whether or not we reprogrammed our jeeps after they were lifted / modded cause the wrong size tires can really throw this number off. I reprogrammed mine with the AEV.
I am averaging between 14.5 & 15.5 with 35x12.5x18 tires and 5:13 gears. I also have a flowmaster 40 exhaust.

Mileage before SC, Street 16-18, Hwy. 20.5 - 21.8. 3.73 gears, stock Auto with the exception of the newly added SC. I try to keep it at 65 on hwy. but usually end up at 70.
Mileage after, still waiting to run a couple tanks through it after the programming.

I have gotten 20+ MPG numerous times on the HWY. Now, it was far easier with the stock donut tires (225/75R16). But I have done it with my S/T's as well.
The key is watching your speed. If you go over 65, you can kiss your mileage goodbye. These are not arrow dynamic vehicles, and require quite a bit more power to progress as air resistance increases. If I am in the flats, going 55, I can get 22mpg all day. I have almost gotten 23mpg going 55. Going 65, the best I have gotten is 20.2 which I still consider quite good. Drafting a bigrig can be a huge help as well. You can be about 3 car lengths behind them and still have much less wind resistance (you can tell as the wind noise dies down).

I do 90% city driving and get about 15.7 average with the a/c on. Whenever i take a highway trip, I'll get 20 or 21 for the trip, without a/c. Mods are below.
