The Interco TRXUS MT in 33x12.50R17 measures 33.2 inches high, if that is really important to you. I had a set of these in 34" on my TJ and they were a good tire but a the aggressive outside lugs tended to result in sharper turning response.

That being said, I am a huge fan of the BFG KM2's and would not buy anything else for the PNW varied terrain and weather (I'm in Oregon and travel all over the PNW). Their LT285/70R17/D is a true 33" tire and the "D" rating would still allow you to air down. If you buy a cheap tire you will probably regret it. Your whole Jeep is riding on your tires; economize elsewhere.

Apply for the Car Care One credit card. If you have good credit, you can get a tire purchase $800+ interest free for 12 months. I was going to buy outright, but took this deal. Put the whole cost of my Toyos on the card, pay my payment each month and watch my credit score go up even higher .

Card works at 4WD, Town Faire Tire.

These gt radial tires are awsome tires, they are 10 ply very good in the mud and fresh snow and I would buy them again in a second the 265-75R16 cost me $153 a tire and I have 37,000 km on them, the only thing is the biggest ones they make for a 16" rim are 305-70R16 and they only mesure 32.8" I just wanted to know if there is anything out there in a mud tire that I would get more km out of and that would be a little bigger like a true 33.5 or 34" tall tire
