Default XRC8 winch problem...

After the last month of phone calls between Smitty and myself i finally got a replacement motor for my winch. The catch....it was in pieces not being an electrician I am in need of help putting this thing together Is it normal to get replacement equipment like this??

If you can post a picture I think that could help a lot to understand exaclty what you are dealing with. Still dosn't sound quite right unless you meant the solonid.

I thought the big selling point of that winch is it has a lifetime warranty? I assumed you would get a new winch myself.

It has a 2 Year Warranty from the factory.

We offer a lifetime warranty on a lot of parts, most of the time we can include it in our sales price and still beat our competitors prices!

So let me get this straight . A product that your company owns comes with a 2yr warranty but sometimes you give a lifetime warranty and sometimes you charge extra for the lifetime warranty.

Got ya now I think it makes sense

Alot of MFG offer lifetime warranty's on there parts any how so I would hope you dont have to include to much money into the cost.
