All you could do is grab a really big wrench and start twisting until you broke the bolt. I started trying to tighten the nut and bolts slowly so as not to get anything hot, but even that didn't work that well. I finally figured out that if you put a drop of oil on the bolt, it would keep them from getting stuck in one spot.

Everything else went pretty smoothly. I had to get up the nerve to yank on the first factory flare to break the plastic clips. Made me a bit jumpy.

The end result looks good.
thats strange i had no issues at all

I know JCWhitney sells them for $531 and you can get a $100 off with the 20% off coupon code (on holidays), bringing them down to $431 and Bushwacker has a $50 rebate, so that put them at $381. I don't know of a cheaper way...

Good looking rig, I am thinking about getting these also. I am curious as to how far out they cover, do you have the distance on the from fender from the body to outside edge near the light?

Default Bushwacker Flat Flair install started

Well my BWs came in last week and I put the 2 front ones on today. Very nice fit and finish. The hardware that comes with them is much better than the stock stuff. I had no problems with trimming the inner splash panel. I used a saber saw, which worked great. A yellow marker crayon from Home Depot was perfect for marking them. I eye-balled my cut marks as careful as I could, but it was not a precession job by any means. But it tucked behind the new flares as if I had cut it perfectly (which I didn't). If you cut as carefully as you are able, you should be fine.

Now to finish the rear ones.

BTW did anyone put on those peel and stick reflectors? Are they required in some states since the LEDs are smaller than the old reflector lights?
