Default Wrangler DuraTrac Tires... need some feedback

Anyone running these or have ran these tires??? I'm running the General Grabber AT2's right now. When I get new tires before the winter, I want to go up a 315/75/16. I saw these and they look pretty cool for a non MT tire. Plus they have a pretty good snow and ice rating, just a few tenths better that the Grabbers and three pounds lighter than the grabbers. I was wondering how they wear.

thanks

Actually lots of information here if you do the search. Looking at these myself and the snow traction is a quality I am interested in as well. There are few reports of wear as these have only been out for a short time.

I was one of the first in my area to have these put on. I have almost 20k on mine, have rotated them every 5K and am amazed with the wear (or lack thereof). I started with 3/4" deep treads & still have 5/8" left. They are getting a little noisy, but not bad at all. I had BFG at on my Suburban before and these tires are head and shoulders better. Rain, mud, sand...pretty great in all. Never had it in rocks. Best tires I have ever had.

I just returned from a 3000 + mile trip to Colorado with a VERY heavy load and lots of trail riding. These tires handled amazingly well, remained in balance, and they look great. I'm sure you'll love these tires.

Thanks for the info guys. Looks like I'll be getting some before this winter. I was wondering about the sipes? They look like after about 3/16 inch of wear these tires may loose all the sipes and turn into an MT. Are the sipes deeper than they appear to be?

They are great. I ran them on my dually and had very little winter traction issues, and where im from we have REAL winter.

I love mine! They're the best tire in the snow hands down.

Where I live we have REALLY REAL winter. I live at about 6200 feet in the mountains, and we have very narrow roads as you can see

My JK just about burried. This was in the middle of one of our storms

This what she looks like in the summer. Same parking spot

Me clearing my street.

Now you see why I'm interested in these tires
