If you can stay off difficult trails, get the CB and a tow strap. Then get the winch when you have the money. Don't go alone.

I'm not a big fan of chinese winches (wenches maybe) or other parts. I had one that worked me to death pulling a Bronco onto a trailer. It would over heat and I would have to wait for it to cool down.

2/3rds of the poll responders have voted winch, and for good reason - it's a useful, functional wheeling tool that can be used alone or in a group... not so the CB... it won't get your Jeep out of a jam unless there are other CB operators around... and even then, you'd better hope one of THEM has a winch!
