I would really like to buy the FT kit but 1200$ is waayyy over price. I imagine a 2.5 terraflex with shocks will be in the cards.

Springs or spacers? What do you guys think? Pros and cons to each? Hopefully terralfex will chime in.

You're not gonna get a true 3"+ lift for less than $1,200. There are simply too many parts you need to buy. Even with that TF kit, you'll really want front LCAs, which will tack on another $300.

You can wing it and just buy shocks and springs, but you're setting yourself up for misery.

Default your best bet if youre trying to save some money

Go with the 2.5 kit dude.. nothing needs to be replaced on the drivetrain, you use your stock shocks, you will have all the clearance you need, and if you get more into rocks later and come outa the mud, you can do a bigger kit and youre only out the 139 bucks and the 2 and a half hours the spacers take to install. Im telling you, I have the 2.5 BB on my 4dr and I love it with my 37s. you will be more than happy with it with 35's. Click image for larger version

I'm going with the Rancho 4" sport lift and RS9000XL's. Total cost will be under $550 after the rebate. When I get the rebate card I can always add LCA's or adjustable track bars and still be well under $1200. Hopefully that won't be necessary and I can turn it around for the flashpak and catback.

Reports are that the lift is a true 4" w/ stock bumpers. I assume we'll drop to closer to 3" after the bumpers and winch.

Are you running 18's or 20's? Those wheels are bad ass, but costly. Do you know what the ride is like on the teraflex shocks vs my stock sahara shocks? Id switch for better performance but i wont switch if it'll ride like a dumptruck.

Im on stock shocks and it preforms amazing. The wheels are 18's only because they dont make them in a 17. I wish they did, save me money on tires. And im not a big fan of big rims on jeeps or flashy rims. I wanted some plain black 5 spoke wheels but when Metal Mulisha put out these rims i had to have them. I am a huuuuge metal mulisha fan. I would stick with stock shocks on a 2.5 since you dont need to upgrade. Mine still rides very similar to the factory wheels and tires and im on 37x13.5 mud grapplers lol. No wobble, no sway, no real complaints at all on the road. And money-wise, i spent 139 on the lift and 200 on the gears. Thats all it costed me to get my jeep where it is. I did the fenders, pinch seams, and front bumper myself. This is my daily driver, my off road is a 350z burnt orange cj7 with a chevy 350 and 40" super swamper boggers

Nice, im going to go with 17" AR Crawls. I would go smaller with the rims but I want to run mud grapplers and dont want to run over a 12.50" wide tire. Are you having any rubbing issues running 13.50" and being 37"s? What dort of BS are you running? And what gears? Ive only got 3.21s and know im not going to be able to run them for long.

I rubbed a little on full turn before i put the lift on. My wheels came with 5" BS. Im running 5.13 gears but it drove pretty well on my stock gears too.. I think with a 12.5 wide you would be absolutely fine

Default 4" Rancho lift on stock 31s

Here is my 2010 with the Rancho 4" sport lift. I'm planning on going with 35's soon, but it's drivable the way it is. It's also my DD. Real happy with the lift, measured exactly 4" all the way around, only took about 4 1/2 hrs to put on (had a buddy help out)

Quick Reply: Would a 4" rancho be too much?
