I love these sliders. They were #1 on my list. But now I'm thinking that installation is going to require more precision that I can guarantee doing it myself.

Bummer, LoD is only about 60 minutes away and I could pick them up and save shipping. Was (hopefully) going to go with the bumpers, too.

Back to my #2 choice - shrockworks and their infinite wait. Still have some drilling, but at least I don't have to tap threads.

 

I would not pass on LOD because of the install either!!! I have their back bumper and it is top notch.

 

I am going to be installing these on Sunday. I was really worried about the drilling and tapping too but I called chris over at LOD and he spent alot of time on the phone with me walking me through the whole process. It is actually easier than I originally thought and I am not so worried any more.
Having the sliders in my hot little hands I cantsay enough about how great the build quality is. I feel that if any car t-bones me that they better watch out because these are not going to crush!!
Weather permitting I will take lots of pictures of the install and I will try to do a write up on the installation. Please don't write them off yet, let a few people install them first, I have a feeling it will be well worth your wait.

My rear bumper with tire carrier came with no instructions, never received any even after I called and emailed. But found a write up online that showed the install

Still after completing the installation LOD gets a score of a 100, their stuff is awesome.

 

Ok. LoD is back on the list.

I'm glad. I really like them, and the bumpers.

 

I just wish LoD would step up with some PDF instructions, or something. I emailed them, but haven't gotten a response. I'm sure some people can just figure it out, but this will be my first aftermarket bumper and sliders, so I'm a little nervous about screwing it up.

 

I will be installing them this weekend and will be doing a full write-up with pictures. I think it will not be too difficult. I'm actually pretty excited about it!
