Yes they are in the house but now they have to get on the Jeep. Does anyone else have these? They did not come with any instructions at all, I e-mailed them hoping that was just an oversight.
Now let me tell you, these things are packed and shipped very well in a custom made 2x3" crate.

No write-ups yet. I know WOL has them, I think he has the prototypes, maybe he can chime in with some tips. I am sure it is just an oversite, I cannot imagine they would want you to drill into the frame and tap it for threads randomly with no instructions.

I did some pretty extensive searches and only found instructions for the TJ version of the LOD Sliders which are body mounted. Won't help us here.

That is not good. I tried calling several times but no pick-up so I e-mailed them yesterday, lets hope they can come through!!

Sorry about that.

I totally agree but I am a bit nervous about drilling and tapping. If your drill bit wobbles a little bit then the hole will be too large to get good threads cut and compormise the integrity of the sliders, which will defeat the whole purpose of having them. Also the Frame is not hardened metal.
I wonder why not use the captured nuts like Shrockworks? If something happens and the hole is 1mm too large it will not make any difference.

I just talked to LoD. I forgot to ask the most important question. How do I get the little spiffy - over the "o".
Let me see if I can write up what I was told.
1. The LoD logo goes to the back side of the jeep. The sliders have 3 attach point brackets for the frame.
2. The BOTTOM of the front and middle attach point has an oval hole. These two holes are for existing bolts used to attach the skid plate.
3. Remove both bolts and position the slider and then reattach. The slider brakets should be lower to the ground than the skid plate brackets. They look like they will actually fit inside the curve of the skid plate bracket.
4. Use a jack stand or friend to hold it in place and mark the remaining holes to be drilled and threaded.
5. Attach remaining bolts in new holes.
Sounds easy.
