Default Wobble.

Would my balancing on my rear tires cause them to visibly wobble?

how are you looking at it? Person behind your or something?

The only causes for a wheel to wobble is either a bent wheel, or a bent axle flange.

However, if the tire is dirty, it can make it appear to wobble even though it is not. Its an optical illusion.

No, it's actually wobbling... I don't know how it could have gotten bent but I appreciate it.

Swap the rear wheels/tires. If the wobble moves with the wheel/tire its a bent wheel or bogus tire. If the wobble stays on the same side after the swap it is probably a bent axle.

Put the rear end on stands and remove the rear wheels. Make sure its in 2wd then put it in gear and you should be able to see the problem. Its probably a bent flange and im guessing the drivers side. Its a very common problem with jks. It happened to me so i upgraded to chromos

You will need new axle shafts because it is all one unit. If it turns out you need a new shaft go with chromolly shafts. I got both rear foote chromolly shafts for the price of one side from the dealer. Rear chromo shafts will probably run around $500.00 for both sides complete with tone ring and bearings already pressed on. I got mine from Northridge.
