After light muddjng today my alternator started making a wining noise... 2000 miles on 13 2 dr. Could it just have gotten dirty? Anyone else experience this. Thanks

First question yes
Second question no-just finished up at a site where the mud was over a foot deep in long runs and regular 4wd pick-up air dams where being ripped off

I would wash it up & take it back to the dealer.

It runs fine. I think I might have gotten a little too much mudd in there

Think there's dirt in the alternator bearing. Am I screwed or can I fix this
