An old neoprene mousepad works well too.

here's a pic of the rust I had with mine. the bracket to the windshield has held up fine but the rest of the mounting hardware didn't hold up.

im sick of wheeling stock lol but I'm dying to get back out so ill be there for at least one of those days. plus my dad is constantly asking when I'm going again when i talk to him cause he really wants to go with. September probably would be more likely but aug 6 is probably doable as well.

KC brackets fit nice, but rust like hell. If you have a can of bedliner laying around, paint them with the bedliner before installing and you're set.

Heard that the delta ones are not bad, but are low.

understandable. my approach would be to take your dad and get him hooked and maybe he will throw you some cash to play with or maybe buy one of his own! oh.. and at the September wheeling trip there are some prizes to give away that would help ya out a little bit.. including some gift certificates to your favorite jeep parts vendors from here... hint hint.

On the contrary, my kc brackets are not rusting, and have been on over a year, the kc's slim line like like they need to be oiled, not rusting but discoloring.
