Just had my two front windows tinted today for 50.00 at a local tint and audio shop with a lifetime guarentee. Tinted it the same if not very very close shade as the factory back windows on the hardtop.

Hence the reason I switched my state residency to Texas back in "95. I love VA but the rules and crap are too crazy, hell more like a regime....lol. I can see it eventually being overthrown in the near future...lmao

Here in Chile Rubicon's came without tinted windows. Yesterday i have tinted 20% the hardtop and rear door windows... I paid about U$ 210 for the job at a local shop.

State of Nebraska-35% light transmittance for the front, and 25% for anything behing the front door. (so, 65% and 75% tint respectively is legal here). Some states, like AZ allow darker tint due to the super hot temps.

Is your JK registered in VA? If you got a ticket and your vehicle is not registered there, you have a good argument in court. Motorvehicle equipment restrictions typically are un-enforcable outside the state where the vehicle is registered. In Nebraska, we cannot issue a cite to AZ reg. Vehicle, and they have limo...I cant even write a ticket to someone from IA for no insurance if their POS is reg in IOWA.
