search out the threads on the Recon Winch 10.5k with Synth line @$500 shipped and weighs about 66 lbs.
I saw a bumper install in a thread and it looked awesome .

And for a general longevity comment: I have had a Warn 9.5 sticking off the front of my 4x4's for 11 years now, and it is still pulling strong. Can't beat the quality or warranty.

That said, if I were to buy a new one, I would look for a quality lower priced winch. There seem to be quite a few good choices out there now, unlike when I bought mine.
x2, except a little longer time with my Warn xd9000i.. I had mine originally on a 78' Bronco with 38's..
Both excellent winches for the Jk platforms..
The 9.5 is stronger and faster and a little more money.
But both are great proven setups.. mine is waiting for a bumper and I sure like the new mid width Poison Spyder bumper..
