Warn vr8000 from 4wd.com, I have one with synthetic rope and it's awesome, if u get synthetic rope make sure u get a cover for the winch so the sun doesn't destroy the rope

I have had Warn winches on all of my rigs, and have only one complaint about them - the price. When it came time to pick one for my JK, I ended up with a Smittybilt XC10 because I got a really good deal on it, and it has performed flawlessly for the last few years. It might not spool as fast as others, but it has served me very well, and the price for a 10000 lb winch is hard to beat. I understand the argument that when you need a winch, you need it to work, so buy a quality product, but, my experience is that the Smittybilt winches are quality. Whatever you get, definately go with synthetic line.

I don't think you have the tires for what you were doing...how did you get out?

I've been looking at the ENGO winches as a compromise between smitty and the upper grade winches on price. There is a vendor on this forum.

Warn 9.5 CTI-S. Warn Factory Outlet (google it) has the best price. No other vendor on the forum could come close to their price. Their winches are brand new not refurbished and they are in stock. They carry the entire line of warm winches. Warn factory outlet is owned by the same company that owns Jeep Add Ons (which is a vendor here)

If I were you, I'd get a 2.5" Teraflex Coil Lift (pretty low cost) and 33's or 35's. Then think about a winch
Many will battle that and say the other way around... Just my opinin

Duelers are good, but not so much in the mud...

I am just buying a cheap one off ebay and came across rugged ridge 8k winches for 300 and warns for around 5-6 hundred... Me I'm buying the one off ebay just to hold me off till I save my money up for the Warn Power Plant, not that's top notch! That's around 1500 from what I saw online... Good luck on ur choice!

Just found that yesterday and it looks like it's still going as long as you call Chris (apparently his PM box is full most the time) at JeepAddOns (website doesn't give the deal). After reading through the deal on 2 forums it seems like he's a cool guy. I guess he can do deals on Warn and other stuff too from what someone was saying.
