Default Winch selection help....

I'm in the market for a winch, and am wondering what weight rating most are running for an unlimited. Any opinions are appreciated...

8-9 k for 2 door and 9-10 k for unlimited. I have a 9 k Superwinch on the way for mine......

I have a Warn 9.5, which has served me well for the last 11 years and works great for the jku. Lots of new brands out there these days, with very inexpensive winches, so no reason at all to go light to save money. Grab a 10k with synthetic line and call it a day.

Recon 10.5 w/synth line; Only winch that is IP67 waterproof. Sig sig block for more info.

Thanks for all the replies folks, sounds like most agree to over 9000 for the for door. What kind of battery set up are you.running??

Xrc8 w/ synthetic line for a 4-door, YellowTop, no issues.
