I love my XD9000i Warn, I wouldn't trade it for anything but a 9.5Ti. Never failed me, pulls faster than anything else.

Guys, buy a Warn 8274-50. It will be the last and only winch you will ever need. Trust me on this one. Its fast, has a lot of cable (150 feet), is easily rebuildable (not that you'll ever have to), has an external brake, very fast line speed (the fastest), and has a certain "cool factor" as well.

A Warn 8274-50 is a great winch, but other then a few used ones that might be floating around out there, it's a big, big jump up in price from the lower priced winches originally brought up in this thread.

it sounds like the thermal switch to me I had it happen to me water got in and corroded the switch replaced the switch and cleaned the contacts ...good as new. I also put casket maker on the O-rings to seal it up better never had a problem since.
