Default New technology

If the MOFSET technology replaces the solenoid, does it make the control system more reliable? Milemarker makes a product using MOFSET with a permanent magnet motor that allows it to run cooler. It does have an automatic shut off for over heating but do you think it will be cutting in and out too frequently under stress? I don't like to be the first one to try new technology.

yes, it "should" be more reliable and more weather resestant as it is pretty well sealed. But I have never had any problems with the old style packs.
My "automatic" shutoff is when I see smoke and that is usualy a few min too late I have only cooked one motor and I am glad it did not shut off before that or the recovery would have been not so much fun.

Default driving and handling dynamics

How will hanging an 80 lb weight on the front bumper affect the overall driving and handling characteristics of a stock jk?
