Is this polished aluminum part of the winch suppose to bolt to the front bumper? I think my bumpers slot is too wide for my winch.

That is a Hawse fairlead and yes, it bolts to the front of your bumper. It's usually used for synthetic winch line. Looking at that picture a second time, that fairlead is small.

Looks to me like that fairlead is for an ATV winch - that thing looks tiny. What winch and what bumper do you have?

Actually, it looks like that's our short drum hawse fairleaad. (PN 73852) The regualr polished alumium hawse fairlead for truck winches is PN 87914. The short drum version is only for our 9.0Rc winch.

Default Please forgive me and thank-you!

Yes I found the other part in the box still. It all matches up perfectly and the winch bolts right up as well with all the holes matching up. I bought the 9.0Rc Warn and thanks I know its called a flair head now. I love this flair head so shiny and smooth! LoL I got the synthetic rope. I poked my hands enough on old wire on the Rhino. This stuff I picked up today. The dog was going crazy popping plastic bubble wrap and ripped my hand a little grabbing at plastic. Man those control arms are beefy! The axle sleeves are big compared to what I expected. Glad I was able to order heavy duty Synergy ball joints.
