I have had my Milemarker SI9500 for about two years now, and have used it quite frequently. Yesterday I was replacing the cable with some synthetic winch line and was noticing a few things. One, my Free Spool/Engaged lever thing does not seem to work anymore. What I mean by this is that it always seems to be engaged, never free spool no matter which way the lever is pointing. Second, the drum seems to have about .125" of play left to right. Is this normal? Are there things I need to do to this thing to maitain it? First winch, and I am clueless.
