I have been using many different synthetics during past years and really difficult to say which one is better. Keep with well known makers and use only those ones that are originally made for winching.
IMPORTANT point is that they dont stretch when you pull this rope tight. Best ones have maximum 1-2 % stretch no more. Itīs safety issue if it will break anyway, thou mine have not yet so far. Itīs easy to see when itīs so much worn out that you will have to replace it.
Use synthetic that is at least 1,5 times stronger than your maximum pulling capacity.

I bought and use a 3/8" - 100' Viking Trail Line w/safety thimble:

I have been using this line extensively and on very hard and long pulls and have had no problems.

I love the blue color too. It would go perfectly with my greystone pearl color. Unfortunately, at this time, I haven't learned how to throw a lasso, so I think the line would be useless to me!

I am using viking fireline, 125' on my 9.5 XP without any problems. Safety wrap is black wrap in last 10ft. I am not nearly as concerned about the cable snap as I was with a steel cable. If anyone is interested in 3/8" Warn cable with hook and flag from my winch I will let it go cheap.
