Default Which winch to get????

i was looking at winches and dont know which one to get...
i was looking at the recon 10,500 and the smittybilt 10,000 comp
what do you think of those two?
my price range is 400-600

both are good from the reviews there is a thread on here about the recon , the OP seemed to really really like it

I just bought a Smittybilt X20 10K comp series the other day...if I get it before you make your decision I'll be sure to post my opinion!

the reason im leaning towards recon is the waterproof factor

FWIW, Amazon has them for 439 and the larger Recon for 463.
Just tryin to help.

The X20's are waterproof. That's why I got it.

I bought a Warn M80000 a couple of months ago from Dave at Northridge for $512 and got an $80 rebate from Warn = $432. It isn't waterproof but you have that Warn reliability!
