Default Will a Stubby Bumper look dumb on stock Rubi?

I have a 2011 rubi with no aftermarket upgrades. I love the look of the "stubby" aftermarket bumpers but of course they are all pictured on lifted jeeps with huge tires and nice wheels. I was wondering how the "stubby" bumper would look on my stock jeep. Would love to see of anyone's new bumpers on a stock jeep. Should I work on a lift kit and tires before i upgrade bumper? and if i should purchase a lift kit first will my stock tires and wheels look dumb on like a 4 inch lift? or am i going to have to do tires and lift kit simultaneously? Thank you in advance for the feedback!!

I think it would look good. There is nothing wrong with doing some inexpensive mods before doing some costly ones. I say go for it.

it will look fine, and at the end of the day if you like it that all that matter you are the one that drives it everyday.

I turned my stock bumper into a stubby (I have don't have a lift on my rubi yet either) and then I later on got a Poison Spyder stubby bumper. Both look great and got plenty of compliments. There's no reason it would look silly. In fact now I think any Jeep with a full width stock bumper looks really odd to me. Haha.

Check out jckid's Rubi. They have 33's with 4dr springs and leveling kit with stubby. I think it looks pretty sweet.

It's your Jeep. Mod it as you like it best. One remark, though, is that some Sates have restrictions about bumpers not covering all wheel width, as with the fenders, for street/road use. Therefore, I'd check local laws. ;-)
