Default Will a rear trackbar mount rip off within 500 miles of a 2.5" BB?

I just installed the front portion of the TeraFlex 2.5" BB. When I got to the rear, I noticed the box was missing the rear trackbar relocation bracket (the new ones). I did get the kit, from Quadratec, with the bracket included (parts list online stated the bracket was included).

Now, my question is, I really don't want to be driving with a 3.25" (2.5" and 0.75" spacer) lift in the front and a 0.75" in the rear.

So, can I install the rear WITHOUT the bracket and have no issues for 500 miles INCLUDING wheeling this weekend? I'm planning on going to Rausch Creek in PA and it'll be around 500 miles round trip including wheeling.

I really want to be higher this weekend, but I don't want to break the stock trackbar mount and be D.O.A. and "stranded" from home.

So, another quesiton is, who has wheeled with the 2.5" BB with NO bracket and hasn't had a problem?

Thanks.

I ran the tera BB for about 10K (got it last Aug)with a few wheeling trips (including Rausch) and never had a problem. I just got the rear trackbar bracket a few weeks ago and still didnt have time to install it. Its something that is recommended, but not absolutely needed.

When are you goin to Rausch? On the 3rd?

No, this Saturday. Another JK member and 2 TJ's. The 3rd I'm doing a beach clean-up in Long Island with the club I'm in, L.I.O.R.

Yeah, I didn't have the rear bracket in my box either. TF sent me one out on last Friday so I should get it soon. How hard was it to line your rear track bar up after the lift? Mine was barely even a 1/4" off and drives completely fine w/out it. I probably wont even install it when it gets here. I'll be at Rausch Creek on the 3rd!!

I really did not mean to push you all that hard, at the time i wrote that i forgot when i put the lift in. I even had to buy the track bar brackets seperately for Dave @ Northridge 4x4. I still have yet to due anything about the front and should some day.

I have about 20K miles on my jk without the bracket you are describing. Even if they were to give me one now almost two years later I can't think of a reason why I would put the thing on. All it will do is help center the axle and from what I can see it is pretty centered as is.

I think you will be fine on you trip without it.
