Measure the height of your Jeep now. Then add in the lift kit height. Then measure the difference between your new and old tires and take half that distance. Add all that together on top of the height of your Jeep and subtract from the height of your garage door. If the number is positive, you're gold. If it's negative, break out the sawzall and head to Home Depot.
I wouldn't take the lift height as many advertised lifts of 3" actually net 4" etc. I would probably just figure out what lift and tire you want to run, then advertise that setup on the site (make sure you reference 2 door or 4 door and soft top or hard top). This way someone can measure their rig and give you a more precise measurement.

(Of course there will be slight variances also depending on aftermarket bumpers, winches, accessories etc. that come into consideration as well)

I am running a 4" lift on 37's and fit into my garage with a couple inches to spare (normal 7' door).
