Default Will i need to re gear or anything?

Running 295/70r18 nitto trail grapplers with 2.5 inch coil lift on 2013 jku with 3.73 gears. Will I need to re gear or anything else running these tires? They will be on 18x9s

You will want to regear. Can u drive with 3.73 and a 34-35" tire? Yes. Will it be sluggish ? Hell yes.

Are you driving a manual or a auto? And what year is your jeep?

I had an 09 jku with a manual tranny, 3.73 gears and 35" tires. I had a superchips in it and for the first bit I said oh man it's not even that bad. Then I started realizing a few things: my 6th gear didn't exist, my jeep would almost big every time I shifted, I would have to downshift to get up hill and my compression breaking offroad just wasn't what it used to be.

I regeared to 4.88 and I can honestly say it was the smartest move I've ever made.

In short, You'll want to regear. You just need to decide what gears you want depending on what engine you have, of you drive an auto or manual and what kind if driving you intend on doing

You shouldn't need to re gear just yet. I have a 2012 jkur auto trans with 4.10's on 37's and it lost a little power and shifted weird. Then I got an aev procal and calibrated it and now it shifts perfect. I will eventually re gear went my factory lockers decide to grenade or something. The new 3.6 engine has plenty of power to turn the larger tires

Big difference with a 12/13 vs. a 07-11 JK because of the new motor. But, you will like it much more when you re-gear, you can drive it the way it is and you may not even notice a difference. I think most with 35's even with the new motor are going 4.88. If I ran a small 35 I might look into 4.56 if you were never going to 37's or beyond.

Yeah I have a 2013 auto jku. 295/70 measures out at 34.5x11.73 my other option is 285/65-18 this is my daily driver little worries the 285/65 will look way to small for the 2.5 teraflex coil lift I have.

My 12 jku is 3.21 ratio auto. And i run 285 75 r17 (34')

I obviously feel sluggish. Especially stop and go. But not really feel on freeway and on the trail.

Yea.. But i'll do regear after...

I have 35" KM2's on my 2012 with 3.21's. no regear anywhere in near future. Ideal no, livable yes.

With your gears and tire size I think you will be fine

You will feel sluggish. Yes, you'll get used to it. But do yourself and your jeep a favour and regear

I have the 2.5" Teraflex coil lift with 285/65-18 on 18x9 Fuel Boost Rims with stock 3.21 gears on a 2013 JKU.

My personal opinion is that it looks fine and drives fine. But then again this is my first jeep and I added the wheels after about 1k miles so I didn't have a lot of time on the stock setup.

I'm sure there is a re-gear in the future for me but not right now.
