Will 37x13.50-18 work on 18x9 5x5 wheels with 5" backspace?

Do you recall what they were asking for the 37x13.50x18 STT Pro? My local guy is at $365 each mounted and balanced. I want to compare to see if this is a good price or if I should try to push him for a better deal.

After running 34's on my stock 18" sahara wheels for a short time, I decided to sell the whole set. The prices for a good 18" MTR tire in a 35" let alone a 37" were outrageous.....
Try to sell the 18's on Craigs and get a solid set of 17's.....my 2 cents.

In this case, I priced the 37x13.5 on both 17 and 18 inch wheels and the 18" version priced out $5 less on the STT Pro at $365 each, installed and it the door with cash payment.

I've got a set of 37*13.5-17 STT's in the driveway that are load D, it may be a typo on the internet.
The 13.5 is a lot of tire if you don't need it. Good luck in your tire search.

Run the spacers. It's really hard to find a wheel with the necessary B.S. needed, unless you go Beadlock. Also, that's a very fair price. I have ties to the tire business and cost on that tire is around $340. I just picked up a set in a 37x12.50x17.

Pricewise that ain't too bad then. You will be lugging around a lot more weight at 13.5 wide though I'm sure...

Before the rebate, the 37x12.50x17 tires were 320.19 each, the 37x13.50x18 tires were 330.19. (the local shop offered to knock $100 off the price for the set that was sitting there, but it was cheaper to quote through discount direct)

I believe that I will order the 37x13.5-18, move the spacers from the D30 to the PR44, and see how it goes. I really wanted to wait a year to do the Redneck Ram Assist, but I guess I'll learn really fast how bad is is/isn't here in a month or so. I am putting the synergy sector shaft brace on as well the track bar frame-side brace with Synergy track bar and drag link. I know that the sector shaft brace will not help steering, but hopefully it keeps the gear box alive for the summer until I do my next set of upgrades in 2017.
